Troubled Teen Rehabilitation
These programs are meant for teens who are struggling with anything from family life, school work, behavior issues, or more serious problems like ADHD and Asperger's syndrome. They offer many activities such as hiking, canoeing, rafting, climbing, and also offer therapy to help the students overcome (or cope with) their problems. They usually last around 6 to 8 weeks, and help students come to terms with their problems, and in some cases, overcome them. They also help build leadership, organization, and communication skills.
These programs differ from other troubled teen programs, such as boot camps, because they are not so in-your-face and physically demanding. They are more therapeutic and allow students to work out their struggles.
